New associated individual form available now

GamingGaming venue operator

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission  (VGCCC) has launched a new online form for associated individual applications.

Associated individual applications must be approved by the VGCCC prior to the associated individual commencing with the gaming venue.

Associated individuals are any persons who have a relevant financial interest, exercises power or significant influence over the management or operation of a gambling business (including executive officers of the business).

The improved online application form simplifies the process for applying for approval of associated individuals by:

  • enabling the application to be completely lodged online
  • providing intuitive questions based on the applicant’s responses
  • enabling the application to be saved and returned to for up to 14 days.

During transition to the new form, the current form will remain available and accepted by the VGCCC. The online application form should only be used when an individual is applying to be an associate of an existing licence holder and does not form part of another application.

The VGCCC is moving more forms online throughout 2017 to improve efficiency for licensees and new applicants.

More information about associated individuals is available in the gaming venue manual.
